Charlotte Music Performances @ SPMS

During the school year, there are one or two recitals per month on Sunday afternoons in the recital hall at the school.  There is a mandatory rehearsal on the preceding Saturday.  Rehearsals and recitals are at 2:00 p.m.; if a second program is needed, it will be at 3:30 p.m.

When a student is scheduled to perform, the student is expected to be on time for the rehearsal and the performance. As a courtesy to the other students, all students performing in recital, their parents, and their guests are expected to remain for the entire program.

In addition to school recitals, students have the opportunity to enter various festivals and competitions, as outlined on the current brochure.  Student performances play an important part in the development of a good musician.  We encourage all students to participate in recitals, festivals, contests and auditions.
